The Dexter breed originated in the South West of Ireland. The smallest native breed of cattle in the British Isles, they are hardy, dual purpose cattle, producing excellent beef and milk, an ideal suckler cow for conservation grazing. What they lack in stature, they make up for in character and occasionally wilful behaviour!

Oxford and Sandy Black pigs

The Oxford Sandy and Black originates from urr Oxfordshire and they are sandy with black patches...hence the name!  The breed is also known as "Plum Pudding" or "Oxford Forest pig.

They are very docile, excellent mothers and produce the most wonderful pork, ham and bacon. Our meat is subtle and lacks the over-bearing saltiness that many supermarket pork contains. Fry the bacon and no white water, comes out, it just sizzles with goodness!
